I got home tonight though, and decided to take a quick peak in the corner and I liked what I saw.

This corner appears very much so finished. But I can't help remembering last month when the stairs also appeared finished and turned out to be this. I sent an e-mail to the previous homeowner asking if he knew anything about the floor condition, hopefully he does and it's good news for me. I am dreaming of finished hardwood floors for Christmas.
