Books #84, 85 and 86

#84: "Envy" by Anna Godbersen

Definitely the best book of the Luxe series so far. There were so many twists to this book that I didn't see coming. I am so excited to read the next in the series.

#85: "Layout Index" by Jim Krause
I love Jim Krause's other graphic design books – so I figured I would give this one a try. He has so many great jumping off points – he has saved my butt on more than one occasion.

# 86: "Wolves in Chic Wolving" by Carrie Karasyov
It's a rather obvious book, but isn't all chic lit? I think I'm just getting tired of the genre. It's about this super cool girl who gets caught up in the shallowness of society's it girls. It's the same story and same ending. It was definitely a filler book while I'm waiting for more important books to be ready at the library.

Penguin madness

So, I may or may not have bought 5 more penguin ornaments for my penguin tree.

Thank you Hallmark and Crate & Barrel for feeding into my obsession!

Christmas tree

A better photo of the main tree:

Holiday cards are done

...and almost all written.

This year we wanted to go back to the photographer who took them last year, but I had to cancel my appointment because I was sick. Schedules got a little crazy after that, so this weekend I had my mom come over and take some pictures. Hopefully, Brent and I can get professional pictures taken this spring.

I am in love with these address return stamps from Sweet Papery – they are adorable. Now the only question is which one to get?

Wine rack found....sort of

Since I bought my wonderful Ikea Expedit shelf, I have been looking for a wine rack insert (because apparently Ikea hates wine). Well, I finally found exactly what I'm looking for. Too bad the company is in Sweden and doesn't ship to the US.

Look how perfect it is though. Sigh.
